The Shimano STEPS DU-E8000 Drive Unit is a compact drive unit designed for MTB riding styles. Lighter than the E6002 drive unit the E8000 has a short rear center in order to increase clearance for suspension and large tires.
FEATURES:
- Its compact size allows for a shorter chain stay and more clearance with the suspension and tire
- Offers a direct pedaling feel both on and off power assist mode
- Stable assist power output
- Includes 2 E-tube ports for Shimano E-Tube Project communication
- Max rated power = 250 watts Max torque = 70 Nm
- Light weight improves bike handling
- Brushless motor
- Compatible with disc brakes and v-brakes
